No. Only superior-quality plant oils that can be ideally combined with the natural oil in the skin, and which offer excellent skin-compatibility, are used in our products. DADO SENS products are based on nature. We use natural ingredients wherever possible. However, to assist efficacy, which is the top priority for people with skin problems, and to help protect the environment, in certain cases we also give preference to nature-identical substances reproduced in the laboratory.

Dermacosmetics are oriented to the special needs of challenging skin conditions such as acne, atopic eczema or rosacea and can be used to support the prevention and treatment of skin diseases. With respect to their composition, efficacy and compatibility, dermacosmetics should meet specific requirements, some of which go above and beyond the legal regulations.

To us at DADO SENS, Clean Beauty means that we do without unnecessary additives in our formulations. Sensitive skin in particular can react with irritation to a large number of ingredients; in particular, potentially harmful substances.

According to the official definition, the DADO SENS products are not certified natural cosmetics. DADO SENS products are dermacosmetics and structured on a natural basis. In other words, we do without unnecessary additives in our formulations and use natural ingredients whenever possible.

The products from DADO SENS do not contain microplastics – neither in solid nor liquid form. Therefore, the “Look for the zero – zero plastic inside” initiative lists them as microplastics-free.

We carry out compatibility and efficacy studies for all our products, in collaboration with recognized dermatological institutes and clinics. We do not, of course, either perform or commission tests on animals.

Since all cosmetic products must be safe and microbiologically stable, most products require various measures to preserve them and/or extend their shelf life. The alcohol that some of our products contain is 100% potable alcohol, and in the concentration in the products is highly compatible even with the most sensitive of skin. Unlike the alcohol normally used in cosmetic products, it does not contain any denaturants. Alcohol is used in care products in order to make specific ingredients in the product soluble or to keep the formulation stable. It may be one of the first ingredients on the list, but the total concentration in our products is very low – or its effect on the skin is affected by the rest of the ingredients (for example, by high-quality natural oils). Irritation or drying out, like when pure alcohol is used, is excluded. Depending on the formulation, natural or nature-identical preservatives such as benzoic acid, benzyl alcohol, phenoxyethanol, potassium sorbate, salicylic acid, sliver chloride or sorbic acid must be added.

All our care products are developed for different skin types or also harmonized with the various pH zones of the skin. In general, pH values are subject to natural fluctuations, which is why they are always approximate values. We typically do not promote our products’ pH value. Instead, we think it is important for the care product to contribute to keeping the relevant skin type healthy.

To reduce intolerances, we do without fragrances to the greatest possible extent. Only DADO SENS products in the PURDERM series and the deodorants contain a mixture of natural and synthetic fragrances.

All our products are formulated to be used without reservations during pregnancy and by nursing mothers.

Yes, our products are ultra-compatible and therefore, optimally suitable for infants and toddlers. Above all, the products in the EXTRODERM series are suitable for sensitive baby skin.

No, the entire DADO SENS brand product line is free from silicones and PEGs.

Of course. All DADO SENS products are special, dermacosmetic products, produced solely on the basis of nature and very suitable as skin care products to accompany therapy for certain skin problems. They are ideal for long-term use, which also intensifies their effect.

In accordance with cosmetics regulations, the shelf life of all our products is at least 30 months. In addition to this, the jar symbol on the packaging shows you how long the products can be used after being opened. 6M means, for example, “use within 6 months of opening”. Since most of our products do not contain preservatives, it’s important to ensure that they are not exposed to the sun for long periods of time.

Urea is a natural moisturizing factor contained in the skin, and prevents moisture loss. People with extremely dry skin often lack this moisturizing factor, or it is only present in small amounts. Nature-identical urea is reproduced in the laboratory to guarantee pure and consistent quality.

EXTRODERM is suitable for the care of all dry and sensitive skin conditions and as basic care for atopic eczema, psoriasis, diabetes or old skin.

You can use the EXTRODERM Care Treatment every day. To use, selectively apply several drops to the affected areas and massage in. For larger areas of skin, we recommend filling a pipette and squeezing the contents into the palm of your hand, then gently distributing it.

We recommend using an eye care product since the eye contour area is particularly sensitive. EXTRODERM Eye Cream nourishes and soothes the sensitive skin in the eye contour area and strengthens its natural resistance.

With psoriasis, it’s important to take care of both skin symptoms: the dryness with flaking, and the red, inflamed areas of skin.

We recommend EXTRODERM Shower Cream, a very gentle creamy oil that already protects the skin from drying out while you’re showering, as well as counteracting itching. In this case, it’s better to care for the skin with SOS CARE Acute Cream or SOS CARE Acute Spray first. The EXTRODERM products are too rich for weeping skin. Do not apply EXTRODERM Intensive Cream to the severely irritated areas until weeping has ceased and the skin has become dry “only”.

PURDERM products are based on fruit acids which soften rough skin and have antibacterial properties. Additional active ingredients have anti-inflammatory, skin-soothing effects and are able to support the skin’s healing process.

The products in the PURDERM series can be used by people of any age with oily or acne-prone skin. This skin condition typically occurs at the onset of puberty. However, the products are also ideal for people who went through puberty long ago and suffer from “adult acne.” In this case, we recommend using PURDERM Normalizing Cream, which is for dry skin with acne.

The products are also perfect for people who left adolescence behind them a long time ago! In “late acne” the skin is usually not (or no longer) oily, but dry. PURDERM Normalizing Cream in particular contains moisturizing ingredients required by late acne.

PURDERM products are ideal as accompanying care for an acne therapy. However, you should discuss their use with the doctor treating you.

The PURDERM products offer special care for skin with pimples and blackheads, and support care of acne. With their anti-inflammatory, skin-soothing properties, the products are also ideal for the back and the chest. A special tip: for bouts of pimples that occur intermittently, apply oil-free Intensive Gel and use 2-3 times a week the Cleansing Mask. The gel mask removes rough skin cells and promotes the flow of sebum.

Despite your flaky skin, you can use the PURDERM range. It’s suitable for people of all ages and contains moisturizing ingredients that protect the skin against dryness. 

Our tip: in addition to applying Normalizing Cream, start off by using the Cleansing Mask every 2 days as well. The gel mask, with fruit acids at its base, gently removes rough skin cells, opens blocked pores and thus promotes the flow of sebum.

For basically oily skin, we recommend using PURDERM Intensive Gel. The Normalizing Cream can selectively be applied to dry areas.

Use the products in the PURDERM range. Active substances, such as alpha-bisabolol and allantoin, have anti-inflammatory, skin-soothing properties and promote the skin’s healing process. Because the products are gentle in their efficacy and contain moisturizing ingredients, they are suitable for long-term use and especially for blemished skin after adolescence.

Care for your skin with our PURDERM products. A special tip: for bouts of pimples that occur intermittently, apply oil-free Intensive Gel and use Cleansing Mask 2 to 3 times a week. This is a gel mask that removes rough skin cells and promotes the flow of sebum.

Intensive Gel is very good for oily skin with acne. Normalizing Cream is better for dry skin with acne. Applying the two products on top of each other may be too much. However, there is no reason not to do so.

The efficacy and compatibility of the PURDERM products have been verified in a dermatological study: within a treatment period of 4 weeks, the inflamed skin lesions in the areas treated with PURDERM were reduced by almost 80 %. In the same period of time, a distinct decrease in skin blemishes was ascertained. As a rule, the skin needs 3 to 4 weeks to adapt, or until an improvement can be seen. In rare cases, the condition of the skin may worsen initially (which shows that the care is working). However, this is temporary and normally lasts a maximum of 2 to 3 weeks.

For very sensitive skin, we recommend our PROBALANCE products. These have been specifically developed for people whose skin is prone to redness and hypersensitivity, and so they are free of fragrances, colorings and parabens. The cleanser and the light care cream can very quickly soothe irritated skin.

Yes. SOS CARE Acute Cream is particularly suitable for this type of dermatitis. Please note that in the case of perioral dermatitis, changing products frequently and using cream that is too oily or moist can worsen the condition.

No. All the ingredients in this range have been specifically selected according to their potential for causing allergies, i.e. only substances and extracts that are particularly compatible with the skin have been used. Our dermatological studies also confirm this, as do the positive reactions we have had from satisfied customers. PROBALANCE Face Cream is based on thermal water, rich in minerals, from Bad Wildbad in Germany. This thermal water can increase the skin’s ability to bind water, protect the skin against drying out, and support important cell functions in the skin. PROBALANCE contains a wealth of skin-soothing substances, such as licorice root extract, aloe vera and allantoin. In addition, ceramides and blackcurrant seed oil, which is rich in alpha-linolenic acid, improve the skin barrier and strengthen the skin’s overall resistance. Yes, we recommend our PROBALANCE products for sensitive skin. They were specially developed for people prone to skin redness and hypersensitivity: for example, for perioral dermatitis.

The products in the SENSACEA series were developed for the needs of people with couperose and rosacea. The products in the PROBALANCE series have been around longer and are also suitable for sensitive skin prone to allergic reactions, as well as perioral dermatitis.

Red algae and celandine extracts fortify the skin and reduce mild to medium redness. Panthenol, allantoin, licorice root and aloe vera soothe irritated skin. They perceptibly reduce mild to medium redness.

The efficacy of the SENSACEA series care series has been dermatologically tested and clinically confirmed. The study findings document an improvement in the rosacea score within an 8-week period of use. In the same period of time, the test subjects were also able to confirm a significant improvement in skin brightness.

REGENERATIONᴱ has been developed for mature, sensitive skin, and above all for allergy sufferers in search of anti-aging care. Liver spots and hyperpigmentation occur more frequently on darker skin types. They are the result of increased melanin production for healing inflammations or skin trauma. Skin trauma can be the result of sun damage, UV radiation, hormonal changes, the consequences of acne, and even wearing a mask can lead to long-term damage for darker skin types.

In our ANTI-HYPERPIGMENTATION SERUM, we use a natural, highly active ingredient called BRIGHT Oléoactif®. It contains extracts from the marsh mallow and licorice root. Marsh mallow is a member of the Malvaceae family. Alongside the root, the leaves and seeds were used for healing in Antiquity. Licorice is a plant in the bean family Fabaceae. Licorice, the candy, contains licorice flavor extracted from the licorice root. In Chinese teachings about juice, licorice root is categorized as a general, harmonizing herbal medicine (sweet taste and balancing effect on the body temperature). These properties are used to counteract skin trauma and inhibit melanin production.

In the pigmentation process, UV radiation, for example, stimulates the skin cells to trigger its melanocytes* to produce melanin. The melanin pigment in the melanocytes* colors the skin cells. SOS CARE ACUTE CREAM can be used for irritated, itchy, reddened skin and as a complement to therapeutic care for perioral dermatitis, atopic eczema, and allergies. For sensitive men’s skin, it can also be used as a soothing aftershave product.

The extract from the leaves of the Tasmanian pepperberry increases the skin’s elasticity and supports collagen synthesis. It has a regenerating and anti-inflammatory effect and improves the skin’s condition. The natural extract tones the skin and softens stretch marks.

BODYREPAIR INTENSIVE BODY OIL provides richer care than a body lotion. It can be effectively massaged in after showering or a bath. A body lotion has a moisturizing, slightly creamy texture.

Apply HANDREPAIR INTENSIVE HAND CREAM in a thick layer, put on cotton gloves, and leave for at least half an hour or, preferably, overnight.

We can recommend FOOTCARE ANTI-CALLUS BALM. It’s a 2-in-1 product: foot care and anti-callus balm in one. Calluses are reduced gently, while the skin on the feet is cared for.

FOOTCARE ANTI-CALLUS BALM contains sage oil (salvia officinalis oil) which has anti-inflammatory and antiperspirant properties. We’ve also incorporated tea tree oil (melaleuca alternifolia oil) for an antibacterial effect. In addition, panthenol promotes regeneration of the skin.

To optimally prepare your skin for using the CONCEALER, gently clean your face and then use a day cream and eye cream.

To apply the CONCEALER, you can either use the applicator that comes with the product or clean fingers. Apply and tap into your skin with your fingers.

Apply the CONCEALER before using make-up and powder. If you require more concealing, apply the CONCEALER again after using make-up. Apply powder as the final touch to help the CONCEALER and make-up to last longer.

The yellow CONCEALER color hides dark under-eye circles perfectly. The green one neutralizes redness because it is red’s complementary color. The beige color gently evens out irregularities.

Our SUN CARE products have been developed to minimize the risk of allergy. In the vast majority of cases, they are very well tolerated. However, allergy sufferers should always carry out a small, preliminary test before using new products: apply the product to the crook of your arm or a small area of skin near to your ear, and then wait for 24 hours to see if your skin reacts. People with sun allergies should expose the tested area to the sun to ensure that their skin tolerates the product in sunlight, as well.

Our SUN CARE Fluids are suitable for oily or acne-prone, sensitive skin. Sun fluids are also optimal for people with a sun allergy, photodermatitis or rosacea. The non-greasy formulation is absorbed quickly. Since the consistency of a fluid is less viscous than that of a cream, fluids are also perfect for people who prefer not to apply cream to their skin.

Our water-resistant SUN CREAM is suitable for children with allergy-prone skin that is sensitive to the sun. The formulation is enriched with precious oils and moisture in order to ensure the best protection possible for little ones.

 Our SUN CARE products are labeled water-resistant, since they provide sufficient protection in the water. However, after swimming they must always be re-applied since the UV protection is weakened.
