SKIN COMPATIBILITY
In general, all subjects tolerated the products from the DADO SENS EXTRODERM series very well.
Two adverse side effects were mentioned for EXTRODERM Cleansing Cream. One side effect involved itching and burning; the other was not further specified. However, no reactions occurred as side effects.
Four adverse side effects were mentioned for EXTRODERM Intensive Cream: two instances of “pimples” and one of “itching, burning, redness.” The fourth side effect was not specified. However, no reactions occurred as side effects.
THE STUDY
27 women and 3 men between 19 and 70 years of age (average age 44.7), of which, according to the subjects' self-assessment, described their skin condition as:
16 dry
6 very dry
3 normal
2 scaly
2 sensitive
1 partially inflamed.
A total of 18 test subjects stated that they had sensitive skin in general and 17 test subjects had atopic diathesis.
All 30 test subjects used EXTRODERM Cleansing Cream, EXTRODERM Intensive Cream, EXTRODERM Eye Cream, EXTRODERM Intensive Care Treatment, EXTRODERM Shower Cream, EXTRODERM Shampoo and EXTRODERM Skin Balm over a period of 4 weeks.
