FAQs about SUN CARE

Our SUN CARE products have been developed to minimize the risk of allergy. In the vast majority of cases, they are very well tolerated. However, allergy sufferers should always carry out a small, preliminary test before using new products: apply the product to the crook of your arm or a small area of skin near to your ear, and then wait for 24 hours to see if your skin reacts. People with sun allergies should expose the tested area to the sun to ensure that their skin tolerates the product in sunlight, as well.

We select the composition of our SUN CARE products to ensure that they are adapted to the needs of skin that is sensitive to the sun. Here is some information for your orientation:

Cream:

Sun cream is suitable for dry skin types that are sensitive to the sun and can be used for atopic eczema and psoriasis.

Spray:

Our SUN Spray is suitable for all skin types.

Fluid:

Our SUN CARE Fluids are suitable for oily or acne-prone, sensitive skin. Sun fluids are also optimal for people with a sun allergy, photodermatitis or rosacea. The non-greasy formulation is absorbed quickly. Since the consistency of a fluid is less viscous than that of a cream, fluids are also perfect for people who prefer not to apply cream to their skin.

Our water-resistant SUN CREAM is suitable for children with allergy-prone skin that is sensitive to the sun. The formulation is enriched with precious oils and moisture in order to ensure the best protection possible for little ones.

In this blog post (only available in German) we explain in detail how to find out which SPF you need.

Our SUN CARE products are labeled water-resistant, since they provide sufficient protection in the water. However, after swimming they must always be re-applied since the UV protection is weakened.
